Jottings & Diagrams - Journaling without Prose ($5) @ Arkansas Pen Show

 LIMIT: 10 participants.   Your journal has room for jottings, diagrams, sketches, fill-in-the-blank, and many other methods that aren't "prose." Creative thinking and problem-solving often come easier when you use other channels for your writing. Try out some methods that can shake you out of a rut, or allow you to quickly cover lots of ground. These can help you settle down, warm up, gather your thoughts and feelings, or take the first steps toward deeper writing when you are ready to go there. And if your Inner Critic sounds like your mean old English teacher, this may be especially freeing. People of any age are welcome - kids who can sit to write (or take breaks quietly) have enjoyed this workshop.  ROOSEVELT ROOM
